Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Chachapoyas, our representatives will be waiting for you at the bus station to transfer you comfortably to your hotel. Chachapoyas, known for its colonial charm and peaceful atmosphere, is the perfect starting point for this great adventure.

After check-in, you will have free time to explore the main square, admire the local architecture, or simply relax before the exciting journey ahead.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a full-day excursion to Kuelap, an archaeological gem perched atop the Andean mountains. To reach this incredible site, we will take a modern cable car, offering stunning views of the valley and cloud forest.

Kuelap, built around 800 AD, stands as a testament to the grandeur of the Chachapoya civilization. Surrounded by walls up to 20 meters (65 feet) high, this ancient citadel features over 400 circular structures, many adorned with intricate geometric friezes. We will explore its narrow passageways, the watchtower, and ceremonial temples while our guide unveils the fascinating history of this mysterious place.
