Granja Porcón, located 30 km north of Cajamarca, is a cooperative whose members have decided to open their doors to tourism. Visitors can experience their way of life and participate in agricultural, livestock, and forestry activities. Additionally, it is possible to take walks through the forest and the countryside. Granja Porcón brings together agro-tourism, nature, and cultural exchange in one place.
Upon your arrival, our team will be waiting you at Cajamarca Airport to transfer you to Porcon farm.
Once you have arrived to “La Granja”, leave your bags in your room, have a cup of tea, and enjoy the views and tranquility before exploring. You can explore the Zoo, enjoy Peruvian food made with local ingredients or you can learn how to burn wood in the wood craft and make your own souvenir keyring.
Afterwards, learn to weave in the weaving craft, just as they have done for hundreds of years in the Andes. Have the experience of milking cows or visit the bakery before dinner. You will have the time to enjoy the tranquility of the Farm.

Get up with the sun and go out to take pictures of the vicuñas.
After breakfast, go out with a guide to look at the flora and fauna, you will have a good time.
Ride to the pisigranja and see the process of raising the trout or fishing.
Afternoon at leisure, rest and time to lunch.
Walk to Lazareto waterfall, listen to legends of the Cajamarca culture and eat a dessert around the campfire.

Visit the forest nursery and learn about planting trees and the process of growing, planting, and harvesting wood. Visit Tambillo Waterfall and explore the forest.

At the end of the day, you will take our transfer out to the airport or bus station.
