Itinerary

Explore the history and beauty of Cajamarca from its heart.

Upon your arrival in Cajamarca, our team will meet you at the airport or bus station to transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

In the afternoon, we begin your city tour with a visit to the Plaza de Armas, the soul of Cajamarca. You’ll enjoy a tour of the Belén Monumental Complex, which includes the historic Belén Church, the fascinating Medical Museum, the Ethno-Historical Museum, and the intriguing Room of the Rescue. We’ll also visit the impressive Cathedral Church and the San Francisco Church, with its religious art museum and mysterious crypts. Finally, we’ll hike up Santa Apolonia Hill to see the famous “Inca’s Chair,” offering a stunning panoramic view of the city.

At the end of the day, we’ll return to the hotel for a relaxing evening in Cajamarca.

At 9:30 am, we begin the day by touring the beautiful landscapes of the Cajamarca Valley. We’ll visit the fascinating Otuzco Necropolis, an ancient pre-Inca cemetery, and cross the impressive hanging bridge. Next, we’ll head to Hacienda Tres Molinos, where you’ll admire the giant hydrangea garden and explore Fundo Los Alpes, where you can taste fresh dairy products and enjoy a relaxing horseback ride.

You’ll have free time for lunch and to savor local cuisine.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the former La Collpa Hacienda, famous for its livestock facilities, and then to the charming district of Llacanora, where you can admire its beautiful waterfalls. We’ll also visit the mysterious Callacpuma Caves, known for their rock art, and finish the day with a visit to the famous Baños del Inca, where you can see the Inca’s Bath and the Perolitos, renowned for their therapeutic hot springs.

After this exciting day, we’ll return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cajamarca.
