Experience

Ica is located inland and draws visitors thanks to its dry, sunny climate and opportunities to visit its pisco-producing vineyards.

A few kilometers away from Ica sits Huacachina, a desert-oasis that draws backpackers to its sand dunes. Ica is situated near to Paracas. As such, wine and pisco tasting tours can be arranged as half day or full day trips from Paracas.

Itinerary

This tour can be done at morning or afternoon.

At a fixed time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Ica and we will transfer you to km 272, via South Panamericana.

Once we arrive to the desert, also known as “Pampa de Villacuri”, we will make a visit to the Extreme winery and a trip to the desert in Polaris. We will also have time to visit La Pampa Restaurant, where we will enjoy a local typical lunch.

After that, we will start a beautiful journey for the iquena countryside. We will go in a transportation known as Polaris. We will go to a farm, where the guide will explain all about the crops of: jojoba, orange, asparagus and grape. At the end of the visit we will get back to the desert. A stop will be made to taste some cocktails made of pisco, water or natural juices.

Then, we will have some free time to explore surroundings. If you wish, you could continue with the desert trip and experience sandboarding activity.
